Our home away from home! Not knowing what to expect and a bit nervous about renting our home, we decided we want to share our waterfront home on Lake Murray in Chapin, SC. Our 2 bedroom 1 bath lake front cottage has a beautiful view with an amazing sunset and steps away from the water. We have a shared walkway but our own private dock. The space We are offering you a 2 bedroom 1 bath that features a king in one room and a bunk room with a queen bed and a set of single bunk beds. The king room has a ceiling fan and both rooms have sound machines. We love our place and I think it will show when you step in the front door. When you wake in the morning and walk out into the living room the view will take your breath away. When you sit down for dinner at the table you will feel like you are sitting right by the water and ready to watch the sunset. Gather in the evenings on the deck and grill with our gas grill. The Neighborhood: This home is located in Chapin, SC off Lake Murray. It is a quiet residential community and is located off a Cul de Sac. While fun is encouraged, the neighbors must be respected, quiet hours after 10PM are strictly enforced. NO PARTIES. Getting Around: This is residential area so we recommend driving, but Uber and Lyft may be available. Other Things to Note: We do not allow parties. All guests swim at their own risk and are responsible for providing their own flotation devices in the event that provided life jackets do not fit guests or are not the proper size. Guests may tie their boat off at the dock at their own risk, we do not have a boat ramp, so guests may access the marina to put their boat in. New fenders, floats, and plenty of tie offs! Interaction with Guests: We like to give our guests their space and privacy, so we offer contact-free check-in. Bomb Island is just 10 minutes away which provides a spectacular view of the purple martins every evening in the summer. TRI-TOON is available for rent as a separate agreement and is not included in house rental. Feel free to bring your boat and launch right here at our boat ramp or we have a Tritoon that is available for rent as well. With a top speed of nearly 40MPH, it will get you where you want to go and pull a tube with ease. It's in pristine condition and is a blast to drive, it's rated for 10 peopleand includes all safety equipment. This isn't your grandpa's pontoon, so get ready to have some fun. It includes a bimini top, bluetooth stereo system, GPS with lake maps, ski tow bar, tow rope and tube that's great for kids and adults. We're close to a number of different restaurants as well as a number of grocery stores. We're centrally located between Chapin and Ballentine SC and easily accessible from I-26. There is plenty of room for parking and our ramp and dock can easily accommodate boats up to 36 feet. We're asked by many people to have their weddings here and while we would love to be able to do that, we just can't host that many people here at the house. We do limit the number to 10 people. This is our home, and we ask that you treat it like it's yours while you're here. We know that people are going to have a good time here but we don't allow house parties. If you're looking for a very well appointed family oriented vacation home on the lake, you're in luck. If you're looking for a place for a wild weekend or a place to party, keep looking. This is not a "party house" and we don't allow events or parties at this home. We expect our guests to respect our home and our neighbors. Update Jan 2020: We listed our home last summer for the first time, we were nervous about actually doing it, had no reviews, and didn't know what to expect. In all honesty, the closer we got to our first scheduled rental, we were terrified....lol. We had worked extremely hard to try and make everything perfect, but you really don't know until you know. We learned that the guests we had were wonderful, loved being here just as much as we do, and they took great care of our place. The reviews rolled in and spoke for themselves. We received 5 stars across the board, but that wasn't the best part of it, so many of our guest sent us family photos and talked about the memories they made here. The personal reward from that was overwhelming and we fell in love with the thought of sharing our place. Now, the best compliment we see is that half of this years scheduled guests are coming back for the 2nd time. We love that and hope your stay is as just as great this year! No pets. No house parties. No events.

Lady Lily is a 2 bedroom houseboat on beautiful Lake Murray. It is docked in a slip at Lake Murray Marina. The boat remains stationary. The interior of the boat is beautifully renovated. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a comfortable queen bed and flat screen tv. Bedroom 2 has a fun twin over full bunk bed, which is usually a hit with the kids. The kitchen has a gas range and full size refrigerator with an ice maker. You’ll have all the conveniences you have at home such as pots/pans, utensils, dish set etc. Stay in for the evening and cook dinner or visit Liberty on the Lake for some scrumptious food and a cocktail. The living area is spacious and has a table with seating for 4, an L shaped sofa that converts to a bed and a 43” flat screen TV, but the best part is the view. The exterior has a front deck and a back deck. The back deck has seating and front deck has seating and an electric grill. The location It’s located at Lake Murray Marina which offers dining, at Liberty on the Lake, better boat rentals, restrooms with a shower, and laundry facilities. It’s less than 25 minutes from downtown Columbia, 15 minutes to Harbison, which has plenty of offerings for dining and shopping and a short drive to grocery stores and other dining options. There is a full bath downstairs and one upstairs. Also upstairs is two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and a bunk bed with a full and twin mattresses . The other bedroom has two twin beds. The back porch has a full size daybed for lounging or taking a nap. And tables for eating your meals while watching the wildlife at the edge of the water. Plenty of dishes, utensils, baking pans, and cooking tools. There is a nice boat ramp and room to park your boat trailer. Ask for more details if you have a boat larger than 24'. Garage access for storage, but not for parking. For Fun: One stand-up paddleboard, cornhole, ping-pong, pool table, hammock, puzzles, books and board games. Guests bring their own life jackets and beach towels. This is our happy place. The five nearby houses are occupied by full-time residents who are mostly retired. This is a perfect place for a relaxing family vacation, a fishing trip, or a quiet getaway. If you're looking for a place for a party, reunion or large get-together, this isn't the place for you. We expect our guests to respect our home and our neighbors. If at anytime we feel like this is not happening, we'll have to ask you to leave.

Right around the corner from Timberlake Golf course, take your boat or car for a fun golf outing. In the summer evenings roast marshmallows over our outdoor fire pit or boat over to Bomb Island and watch the 750,000 Purple Martins come home to the largest roost in North America.
